Find out about the Business Cadetship Program cadetship available from Professional Cadetships Australia (PCA) by taking a look at this video and website explaining everything you need to know. As a Business Cadet, you combine university study in Sydney with paid work at UBS or Barrenjoey Capital Partners in Sydney. The Business Cadetships Program allows you to choose the university where you will study and allows you latitude in your choice of degree program. Interested students are advised to carefully read all the information provided in the Business Cadetships section on the PCA website here. Applications for this Business Cadetships Program are made online to PCA and close 22 May 2024.
In the April school holidays, RMIT will be hosting tours across each of its campuses. This a great opportunity for students to find out more about their RMIT options after high school. Places are limited, so students are encouraged to book in early! Browse RMIT’s upcoming Campus tours and register for the campus, day and time that suits best.
Registrations are now open for Swinburne’s April school holiday on-campus events for high school students: A Day in the Life of a Swinburne student studying STEM & Aviation, Creative & Design, or Business & Criminology. Keen to experience a regular day on campus? Curious to know exactly what your dream course involves? Not sure which study path is right for you? Come along to Swinburne’s Hawthorn campus for a sneak peek at what comes after high school. You’ll chat with current Swinburne students and academics, explore the Hawthorn campus, and work with other students in hands-on workshops. Students interested in Monash University’s Clayton campus courses such as Medicine, Biomedical Science, Nursing, Nutrition Science are encouraged to attend one of the below tours in the upcoming April school holidays. They are a great opportunity to view the MNHS teaching and learning facilities. MNHS staff and students will also be available to answer any questions you have about your courses of interest. Photographic Studies College are holding workshops at their South Melbourne campus in the upcoming school holidays, and the sessions will provide students with practical and hands on experiences of either studio photography or photographing on location and getting a sense of the wonders of street photography. Students will be encouraged to experiment, explore creative visual approaches and work as a team in small groups! There will be tips and tricks on using light and much more and the workshop will finish with image reviews. Students can use their smartphone or bring their DLSR camera if they have one. AIE’s Industry Experience Day is a great opportunity for students in Years 10, 11 and 12 to learn about the local and international game development, 3D animation and visual effects industries. Students will get the opportunity to learn about the different pathways to get into the industry, what should be in a portfolio and will be able to get creative in practical workshops using industry-standard 3D animation and game development tools. The sessions are run by industry professionals who have worked on some blockbuster games and films. Everything is provided for students to participate in the hands-on workshops and they will be using the same software that is used in the industry. For event details and to register click here.
