Confirmation Retreat Day
Last Friday the 5th of April the Year 6 students participated in a Retreat Day as part of their preparation for Confirmation. Students had a really special day where they gathered for prayer, completed art to decorate the church. The candidates then visited St Joseph’s Church where Fr Abmar spent some time talking to them about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and the Sacrament of Confirmation. The day was concluded with a delicious BBQ.
Thank you to the parents who helped with cooking and serving the BBQ on Friday, it was lovely to have you all here to celebrate this special sacrament.
