Students will be given a new reading diary as you would have noticed in their reading folder. We have done some learning around our a diary works, Everyone was excited to use this and put in some significant dates. This has sparked some excitement around reading. Please remember to fill this reading log out-it’s lovely to see some already using it.

Week 1

This past week, we have been busy settling back into our routines, reacquainting ourselves with the school environment, and embracing the sense of community that makes our school special. Moreover, we are thrilled to announce a new addition to our classroom: Ms. Gen, who will be joining us as the classroom teacher on Thursdays and Fridays. We extend a warm welcome to Ms. Gen and look forward to the valuable contributions she will bring to our learning journey.

As we embark on this term together, we are filled with anticipation for all the fantastic learning experiences that await us. From engaging lessons to hands-on activities, from creative projects to collaborative endeavours, we are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where each child can thrive and reach their fullest potential.

We encourage open communication and collaboration between home and school, as we believe that together, we can create the best possible educational experience for your child. Should you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions throughout the term, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Connection

In the bustling halls of St. Joseph's, a new concept has been stirring the hearts and minds of our students: connection. As we navigate through the fabric of our school community, we have embarked on a journey to unravel the depths of what connection truly means to us and how it shapes our collective identity at St. Joseph's.

Over the past weeks, our students have delved into this theme with curiosity and enthusiasm. Through discussions, activities, and reflective exercises, they have explored the myriad ways in which connections manifest themselves in our daily lives – from the bonds we share with our classmates to the ties that bind us to our wider community. We look forward to exploring the concept in depth this term.
