Cluster Athletics Carnival

Last Friday we were joined by Falls Creek Primary, Tawonga Primary and Dederang Primary for our annual athletics carnival.  Helping Steph run the day were a team of volunteers and teachers Lauren, Laura, Lucy, Kate, Eve, Alison, Chris, Hayley, Hannah, Steve, Naomi, Emily, Dave, James, Kim and Carolyn.  Without your help we could run the day so smoothly. Thank you!

With students in their house colours Murray - Yellow, Mitta - Red, Kiewa - Green, Indigo - Blue they set of in age groups to tackle 100m, 200m and 800 m sprints, longjump, triple jump, shotput, discus, vortex, and the fun relay at then end all together.

Mitta came out with most points, closely on their heels was Indigo.

Well done to all students, you all put in a tremendous effort and the main thing is you had fun.

This year we had some records broken across a few age groups in Triple Jump and Discus.  Congratulations to Annabelle, Eli, and Dylan.

Lunchtime Sports

Lunchtime fun for our final week of term 1… our last tennis club session, volleyball, soccer and some hop scotch/chalk drawing! We’ve loved seeing students enjoying spending some fun, active time together during their breaks. 

A big thank you to the Mount Beauty Tennis Club for allowing us to use the courts - students have loved improving their skills and spending time with friends during their fun matches together.
