Walcha Show

And with that, our final show of the season draws to a close. Once again, our talented students showed their expertise in judging merino and meat sheep and cattle. 

We walked away with a few more ribbons and building excitement for what we will do next year with our plans to make the farm bigger and better!

I would like to thank all the students for their excellent behaviour and their respect for the organisers and animals at all 3 shows this year. I would also like to thank Josh our fantastic farm hand for driving us on the bus to Guyra and Walcha. See you all there next year!

International Women's Day

International Women's Day breakfast held at the Armidale Bowling Club. 

Co- leaders of O’Connor’s Z Club Poppy McKay and Freya Giles were in attendance with guest speaker Sanaz Alian, a lecturer in Urban Planning, and past President of the Zonta Club of Armidale. 

Some of our student leaders also attended. 

Kids Lit Quiz

Congratulations to our two year 7/8 teams who competed in the Kids Lit Quiz. Everyone enjoyed the challenge of answering literature questions and all team members received a book prize. Peter, Bronte ,Tahlia and Payton came third overall and were also awarded a book voucher.

The students were impeccable representatives of our wonderful College!
