Bill Turner Trophy
Our under 15's girls soccer team headed to Inverell Thursday 21st March for the Bill Turner Trophy. The girls didn't win against Holy Trinity unfortunately but are commended on their efforts and sportsmanship. They played great as a team and had a fantastic game for their first time playing a full game together. Well done girls!

Dio Touch Football
On the 27th of March 40 O’Connor students boarded Edwards coaches enroute to Inverell for the Armidale Diocese Secondary Touch Football Selection Trials. During the day some great performances were witnessed by both the boys and girls teams. After 4 round games played in school teams in the Inverell heat, the possibles and probables were announced. This match sees the individual selection of those likely to be picked in the final Armidale Diocese squad.

Thank you to the O’Connor Teaching Staff who coached each of the teams on the day and have been training these teams in their lunch hours in the lead up to the event: Mr Honeysett, Mr McCann, Mr Grulovic and Mrs Clydsdale. Special thanks to Sophie Carson who ran the girls subs on the day, Malakye Wright-Pearson for assisting Mr Honeysett and Mr Dean Carson who traveled to Inverell to support our teams.
