Learning at Luna Park

On Wednesday 6th March, the Unit 3 Physics and Math Methods students travelled to Luna Park, St Kilda, for a day of drops, turns, speed and G-forces as they rode all the rides Luna Park had to offer.

Each year Luna Park closes its doors to the general public for one week, and offers all Victorian Unit 3 Physics students to opportunity to gather data through all senses and experience the sensations of motion, momentum, force and energy which are all topics that they cover in the VCE Physics course.

This year Alysha O’Connor, Rakai Frisby, Riley Burrill, Noah McClelland, Tarkyn Lee and Lachie Fraser all participated in the day. All students were courageous enough to step outside of their comfort zone, take responsible risks and ride on some of the most intense rides Luna Park had to offer, while pondering all things Physics and Maths. It was a great day, with some great people doing some great things in Physics and Maths!
