Year 7 Camp

Year 7 Students travelled to Phillip Island for the Orientation Camp. The students visited the Nobbies before their arrival where they learnt about important Indigenous sites and saw some local wildlife including penguins, wallabies and native birds.

Upon arrival at Phillip Island, the students set off into their activity groups where they participated in a range of challenging tasks. Students demonstrated courage on the giant swing, stepped outside of their comfort zone of the flying fox and displayed their accuracy in archery, among other fun activities!

The students enjoyed the lovely weather at Cowes Beach and creatively constructed some very impressive sand castles. Students swam in the water and played a very high-quality beach cricket match.

Killester Idol was the highlight of camp where both students and teachers showed off their incredible talents. There was singing, dancing, piano playing, sports routines and stand-up comedy.

Thank you to all the students and staff who made the 2024 Year 7 Camp so memorable for all!
