Creativity in Writing

As part of our Literacy block, students are taught to create a range of imaginative, informative and persuasive types of texts including narratives, procedures, performances, reports, reviews, explanations and discussions.

Over the past week, the Year 6 students have been using prompts to create different texts. From using the prompt of a sunken ship, students chose to create poems, narratives, and reports. Check out some examples below.

NAPLAN

Well done to all of our Year 3 and Year 5 students who showed maturity and confidence when completing the NAPLAN tests last week. If your child was away for any of the tests, they will participate in a catch up test over the coming week.
