SASS Learning Roadshow
The Learning Unit is piloting a new initiative that will bring a range of face-to-face professional learning to non-teaching staff in regional and metro schools.
Glen Innes High School was very excited to be asked to host this professional learning roadshow. SASS staff came from all schools in our region. There were nine fantastic facilitators presenting throughout the day who had everyone engaged and involved.
Some of the topics the Learning Roadshow covered were staff wellbeing, trauma informed practice, tools and technology.
Everyone agreed how great it was to have face to face training back again.
Well done to the Learning Delivery Unit.

Dear Adam
I wanted to take the time to extend my personal thanks to you and your fabulous team for hosting our latest learning initiative for non-teaching staff in schools, the Learning Roadshow.
I understand from Donelle and Mandi in my team that the Roadshow was a tremendous success, and that this was largely due to the warm welcome and strong support we received from your staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
Being former SASS themselves, I know Donelle and Mandi were very energised being back in the school environment, and they have shared with me how lovely it was to meet you, and to see the pride you hold in your students, staff and school. Being able to connect directly with schools like this is what motivates my team to succeed.
Once again thank you for welcoming us to your school, and I look forward to being able to continue to support your non-teaching staff with learning opportunities.
Yours sincerely
Peta Pocock
