Collaborate with our team to brainstorm and plan engaging social media content that showcases the excitement and innovation happening at the Tech School. Your ideas will drive our online presence.
Grab our social media phone and capture the magic. You’ll be on the scene, documenting events, workshops and learning experiences across the Tech School. Don’t want to be on camera? No worries! The tech is the star of the show so there is no need to be on camera if that’s not for you.
Editing, take the raw footage and weave it into a compelling story. You’ll be in charge of editing videos, adding effects, and making sure our content is polished and ready to shine.

Typical Tasks and Duties:
As a Design Assistant, you will embark on a thrilling journey into the realms of creativity and innovation. This is your chance to dive headfirst into the exhilarating world of design, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies such as 3D printers, Laser Cutting, and other state-of-the-art professional-grade equipment.
Your role will include learning the theory and practical application of product development from initial concept to prototyping, working on exciting design projects to sharpen your creative skills and collaborating closely with our seasoned team of design experts while working independently through every step in the design process – from brainstorming creative ideas to crafting prototypes and rigorously testing products.
Skills you might learn
- Use of technology like laser and water jet cutters, 3D, garment and UV printers, embroidery machines and more.
- Industry standard software like Adobe Illustrator.
- How to implement the design thinking process into a project.

Things at the Tech School are always changing. Every day is different. You might be assisting our STEAM Educators in learning experiences with students, preparing or packing up technology like drones and robots, troubleshooting software and technology or preparing resources for programs.
