Welcome
We welcome Francis to Mrs Loffler's Foundation class. Francis commenced at Pilgrim School at the beginning of this term and we welcome him and his parents (Faruq and Ruby) to the Pilgrim School community. We hope you settle in to new routines quickly and enjoy your time at our school. Please keep an eye out to welcome Francis and his family to Pilgrim.

Parent Literacy Workshop
Date: Wednesday 29th May
Time: 6.30pm – 8.00pm

Are you wondering how learning to read happens at school?
Is your child struggling to learn to read?
Curious about how students progress through reader levels?
Do you have a child who has picked up reading quickly and you don’t know how to challenge them or what is next?
This interactive workshop is open for all parents and caregivers and targeted to those with students in Foundation to Year 2.
Some of our specialist Early Years teachers will be sharing their expertise about how to help children as they navigate learning to read and develop their reading skills for accuracy, meaning and understanding.
We welcome you to join us for a fun and informative night! Please organise childcare as this is an adult only event. Please book below:
School Hats
During Term 2 students are required to wear hats whenever the UV is 3 and above. Staff regularly access the daily sun protection times via the SunSmart app. Please ensure your child still has a school hat at school for the days that it will need to be worn.
Email Addresses Linked to Sentral Portal
Families would have used an email address when first signing into your Sentral Portal and App. Please note if you inform our office of a change to your email address, please indicate if you will also need your portal username changed. Push notifications do get sent to the email address linked to your portal login and making this change is a separate process.
Connections Cafe
There are still some places available at our first Pilgrim Connections Cafe. Our Year 6 students and Heather Fallon have been busy planning and preparing a very special afternoon tea. This first event is free as a gift to Mothers and Mother figures this Mother's Day. There will be opportunity to share food and connection at school.
Tuesday 14th May, 1.30 - 3.00pm.
