A very warm welcome to the 2026 school year! On behalf of the Edgeworth Public School P&C Executive Team, we hope all our students, families, and staff enjoyed a restful break and are feeling refreshed and ready for another exciting year ahead.
We are pleased to introduce the 2026 P&C Executive Committee, who are looking forward to working closely with the school and community to support our students and continue building a positive, respectful, and inclusive school environment:

We would also like to sincerely thank our outgoing Executive members, Kendal Merchant, Kristina Cousins, Jennie Van Der Zee, and Richard O’Shea for their dedication, leadership, and countless hours of service during the 2025 school year. Their commitment and hard work have made a lasting contribution to our school community, and we are very grateful for everything they have given to the P&C.
In addition, we extend a heartfelt thank you to all our general P&C members. Your support, ideas, volunteering, and attendance at meetings and events are what make the P&C possible. Every contribution whether large or small plays an important role in supporting our students and strengthening our school community.
We are also pleased to continue the important work of our Disability & Inclusion Sub‑Committee in 2026:
2026 Disability & Inclusion Sub‑Committee

Secretary: Brooke Conicella
This sub‑committee plays a vital role in supporting inclusive practices and advocating for families within our school community.
As part of our ongoing commitment to respectful and effective collaboration, the P&C has re‑established, reviewed, agreed to, and signed a Code of Conduct. This shared agreement reinforces our values of respect, transparency, and positive communication as we work together in the best interests of our students and school.
What’s Coming Up in 2026
We have a fun and engaging year of fundraising planned, with events designed to bring our community together while supporting valuable school initiatives:
- Wednesday 11 March – McDonald’s Family Fun Night
- Thursday 2 April – Colour Run
- Thursday 7 May – Mother’s Day Stall
- Friday 26 June – Silly Sock & Crazy Hair Day
- Wednesday 12 August – McDonald’s Family Fun Night
- Thursday 3 September – Father’s Day Stall
- Friday 25 September – Themed Disco
- TBC – Carols BBQ
More details about each event will be shared closer to the dates.
Canteen Volunteers Needed
Our school canteen is always in need of volunteers, and we would love to hear from anyone who may be able to help, even for a small amount of time. Volunteering is a wonderful way to support our school and connect with other families.
