Assemblies

Our whole-school assemblies are an important part of our community life and will continue to occur this year fortnightly on Thursday's starting next week with Primary. They provide opportunities to communicate information, celebrate learning, recognise student achievements, and strengthen connections across year levels. Throughout the year, each class will have the opportunity to host and perform at an assembly. This may include sharing learning, performing a song or presentation, or showcasing a special project. Families are warmly invited to attend assemblies. A schedule of assembly dates, including which class is performing, will be available on the school calendar so you can plan ahead and join us for these special occasions.

Positive Behaviour in the Playground

We have been focusing on reinforcing positive behaviour in the playground to ensure that all students feel safe, included, and respected. Staff are explicitly teaching and modelling expected behaviours such as sharing equipment, using kind language, including others in games, and resolving minor conflicts appropriately. It has been pleasing to see students demonstrating responsibility and empathy during break times. We encourage families to continue conversations at home about respectful play, resilience, and problem-solving, as this partnership helps strengthen our positive school culture.

Parking and Afternoon Pick-Up

We kindly remind families to please follow all Kiss and Ride signage and parking regulations during drop-off and pick-up times. These procedures are in place to ensure the safety of all students, families and staff. Please do not park across driveways or in no-parking zones, as this creates safety hazards and can block access for local residents. We understand that afternoons can be particularly busy, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time. Please be reassured that teachers are on duty each afternoon and will remain with students in the designated areas until they are collected.
