RE & Wellbeing News
Dear Families,
Thank you to our Art Captains, Yianna and Fortunato who have created our new Achievement Awards.
As mentioned in the newsletter a few weeks ago, we are introducing a new award to highlight the academic achievements of our students at Sacred Heart. We made this change in light of parent feedback, student wellbeing data and staff discussion. Congratulations to all the students who received this new award today.
Yianna and Fortunato created an award, then consulted different teachers and students to get feedback on the design, and then made alterations, got feedback again and came up with the final design. It was quite a process but we have a wonderful student designed award.
Well Done Captains!
RE NEWS
A special visitor will come to Sacred Heart next Tuesday to meet with the students in Year 4/5 & 5/6 to talk about the Sacraments of Initiation. Bishop Terry Curtin will join us to meet all our senior students and those who are receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation next term, on the evening of Friday the 26th of July. We are looking forward to seeing Bishop Terry.
Enjoy the weekend.
Take Care,
Kate Harris
