Yesterday we celebrated the Feast of St Ignatius of Loyola with liturgy. In the liturgy we heard of the story of how St Ignatius went from being a soldier in the Spanish Army to becoming a soldier of Jesus.
He is the founder of the Society of Jesus, better known as the Jesuits, a group of priests with the same aim as Ignatius' where they live by the votes of obedience, poverty, chastity and a special vote of total obedience to the Pope. Pope Francis is a Jesuit!
Students in Ignatius faction shared a sausage sizzle lunch.
