Bellbird Magazine

The latest edition of the Bellbird Magazine is out now!

Over 30 students have contributed to this issue across a range of forms including poetry, reviews, interviews, short stories and personal essays. It is an excellent opportunity for these students to publish their writing and share their imagination, experiences and opinions with a broader audience. Well done to these students!

The magazine team ran another writing competition this semester based on the ‘Growing Up’ series of books. Well done to the ten students who submitted their thoughtful responses to the competition. After much deliberation, our 3rd place author who received a $20 Bookface gift card for their piece titled ‘Growing Up as a Tibetan Refugee’ is Dolma Tentso. Our 2nd place author who received a $20 Bookface gift card for their piece titled ‘Growing Up with Autism’ is Riley Everett. The winner of the ‘Growing Up’ writing competition who received a $25 Bookface gift card for their piece titled ‘Growing Up in the City’ is Ewan Kim! Congratulations to these authors.

A hard copy of the magazine can be found in each English classroom and the library. Students are also welcome to borrow the magazine as an eBook from the library’s Oliver platform (see Ms Klein for assistance). Parents and guardians can read a digital version of the magazine by accessing our website and clicking through to the link:
