Year 7

This term Year 7 have been working on a project called Videos For Change. During this topic, we have been making promotional films focused on our school values: Belonging, Curiosity, Perseverance and Respect. We’ve looked at camera angles and were challenged to use at least five camera angles throughout our films. This has been a fun project, the most fun part has been watching all of the classes films.

Year 8

Why is yarning important in reconciliation? This has been our driving question for our Term Two Project: Let’s Yarn. We had two options to choose from this term, either creating a podcast episode or contributing to a class NAIDOC event. Each Year 8 class will be holding an event each day of Week 10, revolving around NAIDOC and celebrating First Nation culture. As for the podcasts, teams are required to discuss the topics of NAIDOC, reconciliation and yarning and will be uploaded online to watch, so keep a lookout for these on our social media!
