Testimonial Cooper Multi-Industry Pathway Program

AGA's Year 10 Multi-Industry Pathway Program supports students who want to pursue a trade career but remain undecided on their specific trade choice.

The program offers students the opportunity to explore a variety of trades, including Automotive, Building and Construction, Plumbing and Electrical. Year 10 students who participate in the program have the opportunity to earn a credit towards their VCE - Vocational Major. This not only allows them to explore various vocational options for years 11 and 12 but also empowers them to make well-informed decisions about their future.

Cooper Larkin, a Year 10 student from Copperfield College, joined the program in Term One of 2024. Cooper enjoys spending time in AGA's purpose-built trades training facility each week. Thanks to the program, Cooper has been able to develop his skills and confirm that carpentry is the right career path for him. “I have loved doing carpentry and hands on work,” he said. “This has helped me plan the right pathway for my Years 11 and 12.”

Despite already knowing his interest in carpentry, Copper believes the program is beneficial for students to explore and discover what’s right for them.

AGA's Year 10 Multi-Industry Pathway Program allows students to make more thoughtful and informed choices based on personal experience and reflection, setting a solid foundation for their career path ahead.

The advertisement should persuade the audience to purchase or to use the product. Some of the student’s fantastic advertsiments were for products such as, Money Tree (Lily Bugeja), Heated Gloves (Ryder Angemi), Mayonnaise (Viktor Anicic).
