Year 3 & 4 News


The Year 3s and 4s have had an exciting and action-packed term, full of memorable experiences!

 

The Year 4s had the unique opportunity to spend a day at St Mary’s in St Kilda, where they created Oobleck in the Science Lab, played sports on the Basketball Court, and made delicious pizzas in the Food Tech room.

 

On the 14th of November, both year levels visited GSAC for a fun-filled Water Safety Day. The students had a blast swimming fully clothed and learning essential CPR skills. They also discovered a range of techniques to safely assist someone struggling in the water.

 

Meanwhile, the Year 3s went on an exciting excursion to CERES with the Year 5s, where they learned Indigenous traditions. They went on an nature walk to discover Indigenous plants.

 

In week 8, the Year 3s and 4s headed off to Camp Allanbee for an unforgettable experience. Highlights included the Giant Swing, Raft Building, Billy Carts, and Flying Fox. Students were treated to delicious meals like Chicken Parmigiana, Sticky Date Pudding, and Pancakes. The night walk was a highlight, although a few of us had to dodge cow poo along the way! 

 

What a fantastic term full of learning and adventure!
