Speech Night

Your performances captivated the audience and demonstrated the power of music to inspire, uplift and unite. Bravo to each of you for sharing your gifts and contributing to the vibrant cultural tapestry of our school community.
Brisbane Boys' College Students and Staff
We are incredibly proud of our ongoing collaboration with Brisbane Boys’ College and grateful for the opportunity to work together regularly. Performing Zadok the Priest on the QPAC stage was a dream come true, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to the BBC team for making this meaningful partnership possible.
Alumni Musicians and Staff
We extend our gratitude to recent old collegians Ava Gilbert (Class of 2022), Hannah McDonald (Class of 2023) and Allegra Pollack (Class of 2023) who performed with our students at Speech Night on Tuesday evening. Your presence not only inspires our students but also serves as a testament to the strong connections that are made between our alumni and our Music Team. Thank you for being shining examples of the positive impact that a strong, supportive alumni network can have on the educational journey of our students.
We also give sincere thanks to our Clayfield Specialist Tutors, Emily Francis (violin), Sarah Dietz (violin), Lynne Backstrom (cello), Andrea Sitas (bass), Jess Postle (percussion) and for our guest performers for your time and expertise which enhanced the musical experience for our students. Your commitment to nurturing the musical abilities of our students is commendable and your presence and performance were truly appreciated.
Special thanks to our Specialist Piano Tutor, Christian Gante who played the dazzling QPAC Pipe Organ with such ease and precision. Christian received a very loud cheer from our students at the end of his extraordinary recessional on the night!
