Middle News

We’ve had an eventful and exciting time in Middle school recently, with students engaging in a variety of activities that showcase their talents, creativity, and hard work. Here’s a look at some of the highlights!

1. Swimming Lessons: Dive into Fun!

Our swimming program continues to be a hit with all students. Whether it’s perfecting strokes or just having fun in the water, swimming is not only great for fitness but also a fantastic way to relax and unwind. Everyone is making great progress and enjoying the water!

2. Dojo Shop Rewards

Students have been earning Dojo points for their hard work and good behaviour. With the points they’ve earned, they’ve been able to “shop” for exciting rewards in our Dojo shop. It's wonderful to see our students motivated and taking pride in their achievements.

3. Cool to Be at School

A big shoutout to all of our students for embracing the "It's Cool to Be at School" spirit! It’s been amazing to see so many students excited and engaged in class, showing how much they value learning and being part of our school community. And let's not forget, they certainly enjoy their icy poles—because it's definitely cool to be at school!

4. Working Hard on Narrative Writing Pieces

Students have been diving into their narrative writing projects, working hard to craft compelling stories. It's been exciting to see so much creativity come to life as they develop characters, settings, and plotlines. We can’t wait to read the final pieces!

5. Zoo Enclosure in OLA

In OLA (Our Learning Area), students have been busy designing their own zoo enclosures! This hands-on project has sparked their imagination and taught them about animal habitats and the importance of conservation. Well done, students!

6. Learning About Time, Location, and Pattern

In our recent Maths lessons, students have been exploring the concepts of time, location, and patterns. From telling time and understanding schedules to studying patterns, these lessons have helped sharpen their critical thinking skills.

It’s been a busy but exciting term, and we’re so proud of all the hard work and creativity our students are showing in and out of the classroom. Keep up the great work and stay tuned for more updates in the next newsletter!

Until next time, let’s keep making school a place we’re all excited to be at!
