Principal's Message

A message from our Principal

Dear Families,

We have seen another busy fortnight across WVPS and as we progress towards the conclusion of the year, it promises to continue in that fashion.

This week we have seen a selection of WVPS students participate in the Lego Robotics competition against schools across throughout southwest Victoria. The students proudly represented the school in a positive manner. At the conclusion of the event our Year 6 Team was successful in being awarded the Champions Award for the best overall team performance. They now qualify to compete at the National Championships to be held in Sydney later in the year.

A sensational effort by all involved.

We also have our Year 2 students having their sleep-over this evening. Our students are really excited to engage in their first school camping experience and I am sure many positive memories will be created which will stay with our students for many years to come.

A massive thank you must go out to all our staff who are supporting this event. Your commitment to ensuring these events are available to our students is greatly appreciated.

2025 School Planning:

As we move closer towards the end of the year, planning around the 2025 school year is well underway. To support us with these plans, we kindly are asking that if your child will not be returning to Wyndham Vale Primary School in 2025 to please contact the school informing us of this information. We thank you for your assistance with this matter.

Enrolment 2025

School transition visits for our 2025 Foundation students will be commencing on Thursday 21st of November. If your child is attending Foundation at WVPS in 2025 they need to be enrolled to participate in these sessions.  If we have yet to receive an enrolment application from you, unfortunately your child will not be able to participate in these sessions.

However, there is still time to get the necessary forms completed to have them involved in these very important sessions.  Collect an enrolment pack from the front office TOMORROW – or enrol via the link on our website.

2025 Curriculum Days:

Our curriculum/professional practice days for 2025 have been presented to school council and accepted. Please remember that on these days, students are not required to attend school and alternative arrangements will need to be made.
