Week 9, 10 and 11 in STEAM
The Preps filled their funny face planters witht soil and planted seeds in them. Hopefully they are strating to sprout by now. They participated in a Bluebot Christmas outfit design challenge and created fabulous Christmas Lego creations.
The Grade Ones and Twos got out into the vegetable garden and pulled out weeds, picked strawberries, removed pests and watered our plants which are growing beautifully. They also participated in a Bluebot Christmas outfit design challenge, looked at the science behind making popcorn and created fabulous Christmas Lego creations.
The Grade Threes and Fours explored the science behind making popcorn. They participated in a Christmas Lego challenge and a Christmas decoration design challenge. They also designed their dream cars for the annual Toyota Dream Car Contest.
The Grade Fives completed their food truck business designs. They designed colouring book pages for a special ACPS colouring book. They designed their ultimated cars for the annual Toyota Dream Car Contest.
A big thank you to all of the students at ACPS for such a wonderful year in STEAM! I have enjoyed experimenting, designing, exploring, investigating and inventing with you. I wish you and your families all a very merry Christmas, a fabulous new year and a restful fun-filled break.
Lego Club
