MPS TRIVIA NIGHT | SATURDAY 7 OCTOBER 2023
On the first Saturday of Spring, over 150 MPS Community Members gathered in the school hall to battle it out to see who would reign champions of the 2023 MPS Trivia Night! Not only was general knowledge and music expertise put to the test, but many also battled it out showing off their dance and singing skills (or lack of...) whilst raising funds for the school.
We would like to thank local businesses for their support with donation items for the Silent and Live Auctions. They include: ALH Group, Australia Post Murrumbeena, Baby Bunting, Brew Bar & Cafe, Bunnings Oakleigh South, Burger & Dessert Lab, Cityfields, Daniel Son, Fat Cat Murrumbeena, Hellenic Depot, Hotel Chadstone, Infinity Car Wash & Cafe Murrumbeena, Jack the Milkman, Jane Doe Bar, JD Sports Chadstone, Kmart, LEVI, Mathematical Association of Victoria, Murrumbeena Junior Football Club, Murrumbeena Wine Bar, Officeworks Carnegie, Palace Cinemas, Playgro, The Rosstown Hotel, Stories by Nadja, Swimsafe Murrumbeena, Toscana Pizza, Verve Photography and Woolworths Carnegie North.
It was great seeing everyone come together for a night filled with lots of fun and laughs and congratulations to the Murrumbrainers for taking out the win!
FUNDRAISING BBQ & BAKE STALL | SATURDAY 14 OCTOBER 2023
Thank you to the MPS community who donned their aprons and baked up a storm for the Bake Stall held on the day of The Voice Referendum. There was a huge variety of baked goods ranging from Smartie biscuits to passionfruit sponge cakes, the trustworthy chocolate brownie and berry cheesecake cups. The BBQ provided those wanting a savoury option.
A huge shout out to the volunteers. You braved the elements across the day and fed hundreds! Without you many would have left MPS all the hungrier. Thank you for your contribution.
MPS DISCO | THURSDAY 2 NOVEMBER 2023
The MPS Disco may be a little spooky...if you come along it sure would be dandy and if you are lucky enough, you may leave with candy. Come dressed up like a witch or a ghost...or just a touch of... whatever you like most!
Join us for some disco fun on Thursday November 2 in the School Hall. This event will be hosted by Kinect2Dance.

This is a MPS Student only event and tickets are available to purchase for $8 per student on Qkr! Please book 1 x ticket under each student's profile. If you would like to help out with supervising, please include your details when you book on Qkr! A current Working with Children Check is required.

Please note:
- No other food or drink permitted onsite due to allergies.
- Current MPS Students only. Siblings or other children are not permitted in the MPS Disco.
- All students must be signed in and out by an adult at the door.
- Flat shoes only to be worn - no heels please.
- Students won't be able to leave the venue unless they are accompanied by an adult.
- Parents are not allowed to enter the Hall unless they are official supervisors.
- Parents must provide contact details when purchasing tickets on Qkr! in the event of an emergency (parent name and contact number).
- If your child requires medication please bring and leave with organisers at sign in.
We hope students can come along and have some fun!
