RAID Yr9 Program

RAID - Respect, Achievement, Innovation, Diversity

This week in RAID we did a Silent Olympics as well as having a speaker from the Pat Cronin Foundation come speak to us about violence. In the Silent Olympics we wore headphones that played music while participating in a range of sports and activities. We also worked with staff from RMIT Project Management Team to plan our next RAID day in the city.

  • Respect: We were spoken to about Pat Cronin and his story. We learnt the importance of thinking before taking action and why violence is never ok.
  • Achievement: In two teams we competed against each other in the Silent Olympics we each tried to get the most points in all of the activities
  • Diversity: There was a diverse range of sports such as boxing, tag, charades and capture the flag.
