Wellbeing, SRC & PBL Teams

This week the students at Holy Family have been writing and planning their goals for Term 4.

* Teaching children to reflect and set goals is an important lesson that needs to be taught starting at a young age.

* Setting goals and working towards them teaches children perseverance.

* Goal setting is important because it gives children a sense of purpose that can improve their confidence and build their self-esteem.

* Goal setting can be used to motivate children by ensuring that they achieve smaller goals on a regular basis.

* The idea with goal setting for children is to get them started in the life-long frame of mind of thinking, planning and taking action in order to achieve results.

As the Seven Habits remind us we must ~ Begin with the End in Mind & Have a Plan!
