Canteen

Jess Crea - Interim Canteen Manager

Checking your child's lunch order.

The most common error or mistake made with lunch orders is that parents are choosing the wrong date, or entering a forward date, and thinking it is the current date. Sometimes parents even forget to press confirm as the last step.

Please ensure you check the diary dates or days of your child's order when entering it into QKR. A handy tip is to check 'activity' in the QKR homepage to see if your order has gone through.

New food items for Term 4

Have you visited the QKR app recently? Jess has included some new items for Term 4 such as Fresh Fruit salad, Nachos, BLT Wrap, and Four ‘n’ Twenty pies. These items are open to participation and will depend on ordering. Please make the best choice for your children and their dietary requirements.

Helping

Volunteering has recently changed. You are now required to have a food handler's certificate. The link to apply is here https://dofoodsafely.health.vic.gov.au/index.php/en/

This is a great certificate to have, and covers the basics for anyone interested.

Placing a lunch order

We ask all families to take care to ensure that they note the date that they are ordering lunches. Just make sure it is for the current week - ( if this is the dates you need) If you are super-organised and want to order for future weeks please check for any events that may cause your child to be absent.

If your child is sick, there is the option to cancel the order before 8:30 a.m. on the day, through the app on your phone.

To cancel QKR orders please follow the instructions below.
