灯笼 Denglong

Denglong is the word I have chosen meaning lantern. It was the chinese lantern festival on the 24 of february which is where People light lanterns sending them off to the sky, creating a beautiful scene. The streets are decorated with lanterns of all sorts of colours, shapes and sizes. The most common lantern is normally red but they could look like anything. There are Dragon dances around that time and at this time of year people eat small Rice balls filled with nuts and fruit. It is a very cheerful time of year for everyone!
