PBIS Blitz

NEW - Term 1 Week 2 PBIS Blitz

During Term 1, students will  focus on learning about the PBIS rules.  Students will continue to learn about what it means to be Responsible, Respectful, Resilient and Safe.

PBIS is an important part of our school - It encourages everyone to behave in a positive way and also take responsibility for thier actions.

The PBIS program aims to give students the power to reflect on how they deal with situations allowing the school to support them through this journey.

Did you know that schools all over the world use the PBIS approach.

At St Mary’s, we have 4 school expectations that we follow - These are to be Responsible…Respectful…Resilient…and Safe

These are expectations of EVERYONE in our school and they are part of our school. Everything that we do here at St Mary’s is linked to one or more of these expectations.

The teachers and adults in the school give students positive feedback when they are following these rules.  They also use these four expectations to remind students of the expected behaviour.

These 4 school expectations help us to be the best we can be!!!

To encourage positive behaviour and to be the best we can be, we will continue our house team competition in 2024.  This celebrates the positive behaviour that students show using the 4 school expectations.

We will announce the scores in week 4.  We hope you all have a wonderful week of learning and following the 4 school wide PBIS expectations.
