Principal's Update

WELCOME BACK!

I'm really excited to be returning to Waverley Meadows this year after a fabulous, relaxing break.  I would like to welcome all our WMPS families this year. Welcome to Ms Rebekah Beard ( Prep/ 1 teacher) and Mr Jack Williamson ( Grade 4/5 teacher).

We have got so many exciting things happening - it will be a great year!

THE RESILIENCE PROJECT:

We are so excited about becoming a Resilience Project (TRP) community! All our students attended a fantastic information session this week.

Please click on the link and find out more about The Resilience Project below.

SRC:

Exciting things  are already happening - our new SRC crew has been voted in and we have had our first meeting with lots of fresh ideas being put forward.

WHAT A DAY!!

I hope everyone is safe with not too much damage from Tuesday's storm!

A huge thank you to our parents and staff who helped clear the road particularly the crossing area in the pouring rain!

The arborists are on their way to clear up the debris.

WELCOME PREPS:

We are very excited to welcome our new Preps to our school! They seem to be enjoying everyday! Bek and Mandy are working hard and offering lots of different activities for them to experience.

Remember - sleep and routine are very important for our new school kids!

CONGRATULATIONS:

Huge congratulations to Mr Jack Williamson who graduated from Deakin Uni earlier this week. We are thrilled to have both of our new staff on board!

GAGA BALL:

Our Gaga ball pit is as popular as ever!

My 3 key things I like to remind our students are:

Keep your hands and feet to yourself

Take care
