Camp Australia News

A message from the Spring Gully Primary School OSHC Coordinator- Kylie (She/her)

Hello Spring Gully Primary School community! It's great to be back amongst you all again! I'd like to extend a big warm welcome also, to all of our new and continuing OSHC families and hoping you've all had a wonderful Summer break.

Georgia and I are both ready for another fantastic year with Spring Gully P.S. We have tons of fun in store at Your OSHC! Including, but certainly not limited to; cooking classes, gardening adventures, cricket matches and soooo much creativity!

That's right! Camp Australia have decided to bring BIG ART back! It was such a success last year and the children, and families have given so much positive feedback, that they've decided to continue with it! I mean, why only create one masterpiece, when you could create a lifetime of them? At least, that's what Vincent Van Gogh might say? So, we will be introducing BIG ART Friday's to our regular program!

This week we have been learning about cyber safety, as well as creating dragons and lanterns to celebrate Chinese New Year! We will also be trying out some yummy Chinese style cooking! So practice saying: "Gung ci fa cai"!

Lastly, just a little side note; I will be going on annual leave for two weeks and returning Monday of week 5. During my leave Sharon from Kennington P.S. OSHC will be Coordinating in my place. Sharon is very experienced and many of our Spring Gully families already know Sharon from Rocketeers. So, thank you to Sharon!

As always, please feel welcome to drop in to the Manya building during our before or after school hours service, to find out more information about Your OSHC and Rocketeers programs. Alternatively, log on to: https://campaustralia.com.au

Thank you as always, Spring Gully P.S., for your continued support of Camp Australia.
