Last Thursday the Parents & Friends Committee welcomed parents of Foundation students to the school after their first drop-off, with scones, tea, coffee and tissues provided. We had an excellent turnout and the scones were a hit!
Thanks to Bakers Delight Midvalley for providing the scones for our morning tea.
A great opportunity for parents to shake off the nerves after getting through the first morning of school, and simply have a chat with other parents for a while.
We look forward to running it again next year.
The Parents & Friends Committee thank you for your support.
This week all students in Year 3-6 participated in their Learn to Swim Program. Our aim is to give all of our students the opportunity to learn how to swim and to provide them with the skills and confidence they need to enjoy this important life skill.
The program is designed to cater to students of all levels, from those who are just starting to swim to those who are already competent swimmers. The program provided an opportunity for students to improve their physical fitness, enhance their water safety and build their confidence, but it will also helped to improve their stroke skills and technique.
Learning to swim has a number of benefits, including:
At Trafalgar Primary School, our goal is that by the end of Grade 6, all students will be able to swim 50m. This is a challenging target, but we believe that with the support of our experienced swimming teachers, the dedication of our students and the encouragement from families it is achievable.
If you have any questions about the swimming program, please do not hesitate to contact the school. We look forward to seeing our students thrive in the water!
We're thrilled to announce that the Grade 6 tops have been distributed to our students today! These special tops mark an important milestone in our students' journey, symbolising their leadership and accomplishments as they prepare for the next chapter of their education.
We hope wearing these tops fills our Grade 6 students with pride and serves as a reminder of the incredible achievements they've made throughout their time at Trafalgar Primary School.
As always, we're immensely proud of our Grade 6 students and can't wait to see them continue to shine in their final year with us.
