From Christian's desk....

Welcome back!

Welcome back and a special welcome to our Prep students and new families. 

The first two days of the school year for our staff saw an incredible amount of work go into classroom set-up, curriculum planning, professional learning, and the annual shopping 

trip to fill our classroom libraries!  Thank you to our staff for their energetic approach to our 2024 school year.  Further, thank you to our Education Support Staff and those teachers who came back to school during the holidays to prepare resources and learning spaces. 

If you get a chance, pass on an acknowledgment to our groundskeepers Kim and Shane for their work on facility maintenance and improvement over the break. 

I would like to congratulate the students, particularly the Prep students for how well they’ve settled into the school environment. It has been pleasing to see and hear busy classrooms (and kids having fun)! My highlight, PKB taking over my office!

Special Assembly next Friday - Student Leader Badge Presentations

A reminder that next Friday, 9th February at 2:40pm, our school’s student Captains and Junior School Council members will receive their badges.  Before that assembly, families of our captains will enjoy a special afternoon tea.  Thanks in advance to our CHAPS community for organising the afternoon tea.

Tony and the Coffee Van - Back Tomorrow

As per our standard Friday morning, Tony will be back in the Prep/Junior area with his coffee van to give us all our end-of-week pep-up!

Facilities Update - Synthetic Field

Significant progress has been made on the Middle School Oval with the installation of the all-weather synthetic field. It’s likely be ready for play in the coming week!
