Year 7 News  

Year 7 Camp – Marysville 

Last week the Year 7 cohort experienced the beautiful Marysville Camp. 

With the weather getting hotter as the week progressed, the students truly made the most of every opportunity provided on this camp. As this is the start of an exciting high school journey many students were able to make new friends and challenge themselves in new ways. 

Some highlights included canoeing and swimming to cool off, making fresh pizzas in an outdoor oven topped with handpicked herbs (chocolate mint may not be the topping of choice), building outdoor shelters and the local lolly shop in Marysville!  

A reflective time was had at the Marysville Bush Fire Museum. Students learned the value of teamwork in their initiatives and bush skill sessions.  

Your student managers and House teams were impressed by your behaviour, effort and positive energy from Day 1 to Day 3. 

A big thanks to the staff who attended and Program Managers who made the camp possible. Well done Year 7!
