Kindergarten

Kindergarten have learnt their first sound - m! In our literacy activities we are making the letter m, sorting pictures starting with m, practicing writing our names, rhyming, reading, playing oral language games and lots of fine motor activities!

Year 2

Well Done Year 2 on receiving a Second Place ribbon for their Art entry into the year's Armidale Show! The theme was "Sow it, Grow it, Show it" and with that, Year 2, in Creative Arts, created a wonderful farming scene. Each picture was cut and divided into parts for each student to glue various seeds, peas, lentils, beans, corn kernels and rice onto. The pieces were then put together like a jigsaw puzzle to create the image that you see here.

Year 2 students have been tuning into Art Hub to follow a guided drawing lesson. During Creative Arts this week, students have been learning to follow directions in order to draw a realistic looking tulip. Students were then given the freedom to make it their own by decorating it and adding additional items.
