Assistant Principals' Report

Dear HPS Community,

Today was a different day at HPS. As our Year 3 – 6 students were attending the Athletics day out at Greensborough, it was very quiet around the school. Our fabulous Foundation – Year 2 students were super focussed on their learning and played beautifully with more space to roam and run. When walking through the Year 2 classrooms some of the students asked if they could have more days when they could be the leaders of the school.

Duke our Wellbeing Dog will be absent from school next week as I am so lucky to be attending the Year 6 Camp - Kangaroobie down at Princeton near Port Campbell. I attended this camp in 2022 and really enjoyed it, so I am delighted to be attending again. I thought I would include a picture taken today of Duke after his ‘furcut’. He loves getting his hair done as his groomer aptly named ‘Pup’ spoils him rotten with schmako’s and cuddles. He also loves the blow dryer.

Have a great long weekend.
