Teddy has made outstanding progress in English. I am very proud of his efforts in both reading and writing. He always has a book in his hand, developing his understanding of what he reads and how an author writes. He has worked very hard on his handwriting and creative ideas, producing excellent pieces of work. Well done Teddy!

Mathematics
Max Y - Prep D
Max is a determined and enthusiastic learner. Max has enjoyed learning the days of the week and counting and representing numbers during mathematics. His eagerness to learn and improve is infectious. Max loves to contribute during shared learning time. His enthusiasm and meaningful contributions have had a positive impact on the entire class. Well done Max!
Charlie T - 3A
Charlie is consistently active in contributing to class discussions during Mathematics. He responds promptly to questions, shares his thought process, and offers effective strategies to solve a variety of mathematical problems. Charlie is praised for his skill in applying place value to partition, rearrange, and regroup numbers up to 10,000 to assist calculations and solve problems. Well done, Charlie!
Jedd O - 4A
Through hard work and resilience, Jeddi has made great growth in his understanding of place value. His dedication and hard work shine through as he demonstrates his understanding in creative ways, especially when demonstrating cash trading. Seb joined EPS at the start of the term and has shown excellence and diligence in the Mathematics lessons. Seb has a keen interest in all areas of Maths. He is concentrated during independent tasks and enthusiastic and helpful during group work.

Mia is a responsible and hard working student in 3B. She shows continuous effort towards her learning, always asks questions and is willing to share her ideas and thinking with the grade. She is organised to complete her weekly homework before the due date and takes responsibility for her own learning by being self motivated. Super work Mia!

Curiosity
Mabel Q - Prep B
Mabel shows Curiosity every day at school. She is always asking questions to get a better understanding of the world around her, including, ‘How many kids are in the school?’ and ‘Why are there three different types of letter B?’Mabel also loves to share her new knowledge with others which inspires them to ask questions too. Summer has demonstrated her curiosity as a keen learner by actively engaging in asking numerous questions during learning sessions. She eagerly seeks to expand her knowledge and takes pleasure in sharing her ideas with peers, as was evident during the introduction of our Term 1 Big Question, 'How can we create a supportive and healthy community?'
