Dear Parents and Carers,
Please help keep our school community healthy by following these guidelines, and reporting any virus, infection or illness to the front office.
- Head lice: It is the responsibility of parents/carers to check students’ heads for head lice regularly and report any cases to the school office or classroom teacher. When you are treating your child 2 treatments are essential, 7 days apart.
- Cold and flu: Cold or flu-like symptoms should limit contact with others and stay at home until symptoms have passed. Good general hygiene remains the best defence against infection and children are encouraged to regularly wash their hands and cover their nose and mouth if sneezing and coughing.
- Vomiting or Gastro: Any student who vomits must not attend school for 24 hours after it ends. Any further gastro-like symptoms require a similar 24 hours exclusion eg. Loose or runny stools, nausea and stomach cramps.
Please let the school office know if any of these or other infections occur.
