Interschool Sport

The grade 5/6 students have been competing every Friday morning in Interschool sport against the other schools in our district.

Students have been having a blast and parents are more than welcome to watch the action!

If you would like to know the locations of matches please contact Vicky or Tina at the front office.

Cricket/AFL

We have been very lucky this term to have had coaches from Sunshine Cricket club and AFL Victoria come down to our school and give the students tips and pointers on how to enhance their cricket and AFL skills.

Students now know how to dive for a slips catch as well as kick a dribble goal from the boundary!

Cross Country Try-Outs

Just a reminder to students that Cross Country try-outs will take place within the next couple of weeks.

You need to make sure you get as many runs as you can in during the week.

Cross Country is 3km, so make sure you focus on running that distance in your training without stopping!

Visual Arts

In Visual Arts, creativity knows no bounds! After delving into the mesmerising world of Geli printing, our students embarked on an exciting journey with our Pop Up Centre – Mini books! From crafting hot book style folded books to exploring the versatility of accordion books, their imaginations soared as they brought their unique stories to life. These mini masterpieces will continue to inspire creativity in our choice-based centre throughout the next term.

This week, our budding artists eagerly embraced the new fibres centre, diving headfirst into the art of sewing! With enthusiasm and determination, they learned the ropes of stitching, guided by the expert handiwork of Izzy and Raffy's grandfather, who generously serviced our two old sewing machines. Now, thanks to his dedication and skill, our machines are back in fabulous working order, ready to support countless creative endeavours. A heartfelt thank you to this champion for helping us sew the seeds of creativity and craftsmanship in our Visual Arts program!
