Prep Learning Reflection

Dear Prep Families,

Over the last 2 weeks the Preps have started our phonics program Sounds Write and started the process of taking home their reading bags! During paired fluency or partner reading we have also been practising the letter sounds s a t i m we are learning!

In Mathematics we are beginning a new Explicit Maths Program! In this program we explicitly teach the skills necessary to become a brave Mathematician!

In Social Emotional Learning (SELS) we are finishing our posters of the Zones of Regulation and discussing feelings and the strategies to calm and regulate our bodies!

In our Unit of Work "All Are Welcome Here" we have been discussing our similarities and differences through writing activities such as 'All About Me'.
