Nugal-nganjin Garden

Nugal-nganjin means 'Ours';  our garden was named by Aunty Gail of the Wurundjeri Tribe

As we dive into another week of exploration and learning, we wanted to share some exciting updates from our beloved Nugal-nganjin Garden.

This week, our newest students, the Preps, have been buzzing with excitement as they discover the enchanting world of insects within the garden's vibrant ecosystem. Their curious minds have been captivated by the diverse array of critters that call our garden home, sparking endless questions and wonder-filled conversations.

But that's not all – our Preps have also been busy exploring the garden's native plants and discovering the wonders of edible foods sprouting all around them. Just this week, we embarked on a tasty adventure, sampling the deliciously unusual shapes of our homegrown tomatoes. The verdict? Utterly scrumptious!

We'd like to extend a heartfelt shout-out to Khalia for her invaluable contributions to the garden this week. Her dedication to planting, watering, and weeding this week has truly made a difference, and we are immensely grateful to have her as part of our garden community.

As always, we invite all families to join us in nurturing our garden oasis. Whether it's lending a helping hand, sharing your expertise, or simply basking in the beauty of nature, your involvement enriches our collective experience and strengthens our bond as a community.

Thank you for your ongoing support, and here's to many more moments of growth, discovery, and delicious harvests in the Nugal-nganjin Garden!
