Dear Sunshine Heights Parents and Carers,

The sliming scores are in... Students 6 : Teachers 0 

Over the past few weeks our community has done an amazing job of fundraising. We have already raised over $10 000 which means on Friday 15th March during our assembly that I will be getting slimed along with our next three teachers! We still have two weeks to go, so if you haven't yet signed up at https://www.schoolfunrun.com.au and would like to take part in the fundraising element of the Colour Run, please get your child registered and share their unique link with your work colleagues, friends and family. 

A few parents have asked about the Colour Run itself, which is on Thursday 21st March from 2pm - 3pm. At students are able to participate, and do n ot need to haev either activated an account or engaged in fundraising. Students need to wear an old (or cheap white) t-shirt, shorts and shoes that they don't mind getting messy. 

• White t-shirt
• Old runners
• Shorts that can be coloured
• Water bottle
• SunSafe Hat

Your child also might like to bring 

• Towel 
• Change of clothes

The colours themselves are food safe dyes and corn starch, normally used for Holi celebrations across the world. The event is going to be an amazing time for all, and we are very keen to have parent volunteers and spectators join us during the Colour Run.
