Always was, always will be

Acknowledgement of Country

An acknowledgement written for SAKG Kitchen Garden:

Wominjeka! We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woiwurrong people, the traditional custodians of this land that we grow, harvest and cook on. We pay our respects to the First Nations elders and people past, present and emerging.

We recognise the knowledge they use to care for Country and we will learn from them so that we can walk together as a community. We respect their continued deep connection to this ancient land that we live, learn and play on. We will use resources thoughtfully, respecting this land that we gratefully grow and share food on.

Thank you.

All welcome to join!
