3/4 News

Lot's of learning and fun has been happening in the 3/4 classrooms.  Let's hear from some of the 3/4 students about their learning:  

 

In Spelling we are doing sounds like 'oo', 'tch', 'tich' in groups.  My group is working on the 'tch' sounds.  Art is really fun, I love it! The best time with Ms Schiller was when we did the pin pricking.  In PE we played rounders and it is really fun!  By Victoria 

 

In PE the teacher has been letting us play different games, like, golden child, number basketball and we have been playing rounders.  At art class we are colouring in flowers called Bird of Paradise.  In values we have been learning about how to control our emotions.  By Ada 

 

On Beersheba Day we say a lot of war veterans.  We also saw a tank.  One of the war veterans showed me a 50 calibre gun.  On the walk we saw a cool as corvette. In sport we have played rounders and golden child.  In enviro we have filled the garden bed with bark chips, it was so hot and Xhander and I had to fill the wheelbarrows up!  By James 

 

We are learning about fractions.  Fractions are dividing something into even groups.  In spelling we are learning about the sounds 'oo' and 'th' and the sound 'tion'.  In enviro we have been doing weeding and putting mulch on the garden. By Thomas 

 

 

PE is so fun!  We get to play football, golden child and many other games.  We also get to pick teams and have an amazing teacher Miss Reid, and she is Harley Reid's sister, how cool is that!  PE is also my favourite period and the hour goes so fast! Can't wait for the next period!   Beersheba Day was so fun!  we walked nicely to the soundshell and watched the march down the main street of Tonny.  By Noah 

 

In PE we paly pony express golden child and boot ball. In enviro we were pulling out the weeds and raking them up. There was a lockdown drill this week.  It was a practice drill we had to go outside to our safe space.  By Nate 

 

I think Tongala Primary School is an amazing school and here are two reasons.  Firstly all of the teachers are very kind. Secondly because we have great resources.  By Adelaide
