Year 3/4 Learning Reflection
In Maths, 4B have been doing Daily Reviews to reinforce the concepts they've learned throughout the year.
Each week, students can write in their Writer's Notebooks about a topic of their choice. Here, you can see students from 3A engaged in their free writing.
This week in writing, Grade 4 students have been drafting film reviews to include in their newspapers.
In Math, students have been learning to use the SPAR (Search, Picture, Answer, Review) strategy to solve word problems.
Students in 4B were enjoying their reading time during the library session.
Last week, Grade 4 students participated in an incursion on water quality. They tested water samples from Woodend and discovered that you can’t judge water solely by its colour. Despite the water appearing brown, they learned that it was quite clean. We hope to venture down to Korrorit Creek later this Term to test our local water quality.
Thank you to Señorita Irene for organising an exciting day filled with activities! Students could make and taste guacamole, enjoy dancing, create art, and participate in sports.
