Sustainability Club

It's Worm Time!

Thanks to the Junior Landcare Grant, we’re thrilled to announce the arrival of our new worm farms and ground composters, assembled with the help of our enthusiastic Sustainability Group! These hardworking worms now have a cozy new home where they’ll be munching on our food scraps and turning them into rich compost to nourish our school garden. This project, named Worm Wise Cultivating Green Minds, is helping our students understand the importance of reducing organic waste and creating a more sustainable environment for all.

Thank you to everyone involved—especially our Sustainability Group—for making this eco-friendly dream a reality!

Want to help out?

Thank you for your ongoing support and participation. If you would like to become involved please reach out to Aasta through the office, Art room, or via email at aasta.dearnaley@education.vic.gov.au. Your contribution makes a difference and more helpers means more students can join!

All parent volunteers are required to have a free Working With Children Check (WWCC). If you don't have one you can find the details here: https://service.vic.gov.au/services/working-with-children

Keep up the great work in conserving energy, everyone!
