In Christian Living, we have sought to have practical activities where possible. While the Year 7s have been looking at Parables and Prayer, the Year 8s have been learning about the faithfulness of God and His provision of the OT law. The Year 9s and Year 10s have been out and about.

We had Operation Christmas Child with the Year 10s, and managed to put together over 80 boxes with all the generous donations from the school community (thanks to all the Primary School parents who responded to their child’s enthusiasm!).

Every year we aim to achieve a bit more, and we surpassed our 2023 record of 70 boxes. It was a challenge to box them all, but the Year 10s had fun sorting through all the toys and craft items from each year level.

The Introduction to Christian Ministries elective class have been looking at Christian aid both locally and globally, and we visited Loaves and Fishes in Devonport to help out with kitchen and produce sorting during Term 3.

Finally, the senior students have been painting/designing pieces to go up in the common room; we hope each year will build on these and provide a lasting mark of their time and character at the school. We expect to build on these with more local connections and activities in 2025.
