Prep V	Lucy	Proactive	Lucy has made a great start to Term 4. She has come back to school with enthusiasm and has been proactive when it comes to her writing this week. Through asking questions to further her understanding and by using the resources available to her in the classroom, Lucy was able to produce a fantastic recount about her holidays. Junior A	Oliver	Determined	For returning to school this term with a determined and focused attitude towards learning. You have put in so much effort with your reading, writing and maths this past week and it’s fantastic to see all of your hard work paying off. Well done Oliver!
Junior G	Ada	Determined	For your determination and focused attitude towards maths this term. You have mastered skip counting by 5’s and 10’s and it was so amazing to see you so proud of your efforts. Ada you are a perfect example of how hard work leads to success. Keep it up, Ada!
Middle M	James H	Determined	James has shown outstanding determination in completing a scientific drawing of a frog. He worked carefully and used detailed images as references to ensure every aspect was accurate. His careful attention to detail and commitment to the task resulted in a clear, precise and easy to understand image. Well done, James.
Middle T	Peter	Proactive	Peter has kicked off Term 4 with terrific focus, enthusiasm and determination to learn. He has been proactive in completing his work both in class and for the Leadership Team, of which he is a part. Keep up the great energy Peter!
Middle J	Luca	Determined	For the amazing effort and dedication you have been demonstrating in our inquiry unit about living things. It was fantastic to see you so focused when completing your scientific drawing of an insect, complete with labels and realistic sketching. Well done Luca!
Senior B	Zach	Creative	For your creative thinking and skill in your preparation sessions for the First Lego League. You have demonstrated a strong ability to use the coding programs, as well as shown great teamwork and collaboration. Well done, Zach!
Senior O	Julian	Proactive	For the proactive approach you have taken to all school-based activities this week. You have engaged in swimming lessons with a fantastic mindset, enthusiastically learning new skills. Your hardworking approach during Lego League has also been an amazing asset to both you and your team when completing tasks. Keep it up, Julian!
Visual Arts	Benedict	Proactive	Ben is a proactive student in every Art lesson he attends. He listens carefully to the task outline, attends to his work independently and is always a fabulous team member when it comes to packing up. Ben quietly goes about his business, asks questions when he needs to and is improving in the art work he produces. It is a pleasure to teach him every week. Congratulations Ben.
Performing Arts	Persie	Determined	For the determination, enthusiasm and bravery you have shown in preparing for our school concert. It has been a joy to see you push yourself, taking on this new challenge with a smile and can-do attitude. I can’t wait to see you light up the stage, Persie!
Digital Technologies	Sophie	Determined	Sophie showed great determination and persistence throughout this term’s unit on Blockly Coding using Scratch. This was especially the case this week where she was expected to and she able to use the IF and the IF THEN blocks to make her project’s Sprites interactive. Well done Sophie on your hard work and perseverance throughout this term.
