Acting Assistant Principal News

As we welcome our staff and families back to Term 4, we also wish our Year 12 students the best of luck with their HSC Exams. I am pleased to report that so far students have entered the examination room feeling prepared and left the room feeling relieved, happy and comfortable with their responses. We look forward to supporting them through the next 2 weeks of exams, their Graduation Dinner and their results at the end of Term.

Our Year 11 students have now commenced their HSC Courses. Over the coming weeks students will be finalising their choices of units and subjects for the remainder of the HSC Course. I encouraged them to take heed of their teachers’ advice as they decide which units they will keep.

Families of Year 11, also please note that reports will be released to parents this coming Tuesday the 29th October. Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences will occur the following Wednesday from 3:45 - 6pm via Zoom. We look forward to some productive learning conversations taking place.

Year 10 and Year 8 students will soon receive their subject choices for 2025. We are pleased that the majority of students have received their main preferences. For the small number of students that did not, Mr Seers will conduct interviews for students to choose new subjects. Again, I encourage parents and students to use the wisdom and advice of our expert teachers as we contact you to ensure the students are in the most appropriate course.
